FAQs
What is CBT?
The primary objective of CBT is to disrupt negative, destructive, or distressing patterns of behaviour and thought processes. This approach combines cognitive therapy, which involves examining and addressing your thought patterns, with behavioural therapy, which focuses on modifying your actions.
Who can benefit?
CBT is for anyone experiencing mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and OCD, as well as physical health problems such as chronic pain and insomnia. It is also helpful for people dealing with life issues like stress, grief, or relationship problems.
How long are sessions?
Sessions typically last around 50 minutes, allowing focused time to work on your goals.
Are you registered?
Yes, I hold professional registration with the BABCP.
Where do sessions happen?
I offer remote sessions using MS Teams.
